STATUS

BUZTON Joint Venture was established in 1995 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The primary intent of JV establishment was rendering high-quality international, national and local digital phone communications services. Since 2000 the company has considerably expanded the scope of activity at the telecommunications market providing data transmission services and Internet access.

To date BUZTON is Integrated Telecommunications Provider and provides all Telecommunications services (except cellular services): Telephony, Data transmission, Internet access. Therefore, BUZTON offers their clients "One-Stop-Shopping" program for all the provided services.

The founders of Uzbek-American JV are:

Golden Telecom Inc, USA is a shareholder of JV. Golden Telecom is the largest independent facilities-based provider of integrated voice, data transmission services and Internet services in Russia and other CIS countries.

"Golden Telecom Inc." Company is the largest independent operator having its own infrastructure for rendering of complex telecommunication services and internet-services to commercial organizations, other clients with big traffic and also communication operators in large Russian cities and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Golden Telecom provides the local communication services via the overlay networks in Moscow, S-Petersburg and Kiev, data transmission services, domestic and international connection services using fiber-optic links and satellite network including over 135 combined network access terminals in Russia and other CIS countries. Besides Golden Telecom offers services of the dedicated and dial-up Internet access to the individual and corporate customers as well as data transmission services through a range of the web brands including ROL portal and cellular services.

NCI Projects Inc, USA is a shareholder of JV. The NCI is one of the leading developers of the complex solutions in the sphere of information technologies and global telecommunication networks.

NCI Projects Company offers completed project solutions of automation and administration of information flows and data bases for the government, administration, banks, large enterprises and separate organizations of any type of business and property.

Company has a status of ORACLE Corporation, IBM Corporation, and 1C Firm official partner. Objective sphere of action is systems of automation of finance and economic activity and bookkeeping, developing and placing of Web-servers and Web-sites, developing of electronic payments and billing systems, development of information complexes for documents circulation, solving complicated transport problems.

Company has the developed systems based on Oracle, Informix and Delphi software.

Uzbektelecom JSC is a shareholder of JV. Being the national telecommunication operator, it provides a wide range of services to civilians and organizations.

Uzbektelecom is the largest telecommunication operator that covers by its network the whole territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Using modern telecommunications networks the Company renders all types of services of voice connection, data transmission, tele-radio broadcasting programs, Internet access and others. Today the work on introduction of mobile connection services based on CDMA standard has been started. Uzbektelecom carries on an active work with international telecommunication organizations and comes as a member of International Union of Telecommunications, International Telecommunication Company of satellite connection "Intelsat", Regional Community in Communication area (RCC), appears in the Soviet of Operators of RCS and other international telecommunication organizations.
