A wireless Internet access service is introduced in Samarkand

In July, 2005 BUZTON JV introduced a Motorola Canopy Radio Ethernet access system in Samarkand. An Internet access at a rate up to 256 Kbit/s to the first Clients has already been organized through the mentioned service. In the nearest future the Company intends to provide an opportunity to connect till 4 telephone numbers by 1 Radio Ethernet channel.

BUZTON JV modem pools digitization in regions

Our Company has switched from analogue to digital dial-up connection to telephone network in a number of regions for organization the most comfortable conditions of Clients’ connections. It gave the opportunity to actively increase a modem pool capacity and also include a V.90 modern protocol support providing data transmission with 56 Kbit/s rate in the direction to the User. Modem pools digitization has been realized in Karshi, Samarkand, Navoi, Ferghana, Bukhara, Urgench, Namangan, Andijan cities. In the nearest future BUZTON is going to install the digital modem pools in all regions of the country.

BUZTON introduces Wi-Fi

BUZTON JV has started preparation for operational testing of data local networks applying Wi-Fi wideband Internet access technology. To realize this project BUZTON purchased «ORINOCO AR-4000» equipment and a State Committee of Radio Frequencies permission for its operational testing within 2 400-2 483,5 MHz radio frequencies band.

BUZTON has a new billing system

Effective from August, 10 the new «Atlant» Automatized Billing System was put into operation. The system has passed through a successful approbation in test regime. The system will allow our Company in the nearest future offering new options for making payments for the Services provided to our Clients and independently track their bills’ status as for all types of connections.

Digital communication services to all regions!

In July 2005 the installation of a new BUZTON telephone switchboard remote unit on the basis of the modern SI2000 equipment ISKRATEL production (the Republic of Slovenia) was completed. Now Clients can get a digital telephone services and a wideband Internet access by ADSL technology in all regional centers throughout the Republic.
