BUZTON JV modem pools digitization in regions
Our Company has switched from analogue to digital dial-up connection to telephone network in a number of regions for organization the most comfortable conditions of Clients’ connections. It gave the opportunity to actively increase a modem pool capacity and also include a V.90 modern protocol support providing data transmission with 56 Kbit/s rate in the direction to the User. Modem pools digitization has been realized in Karshi, Samarkand, Navoi, Ferghana, Bukhara, Urgench, Namangan, Andijan cities. In the nearest future BUZTON is going to install the digital modem pools in all regions of the country.
Traditional standards of data transmission trough modem suppose all modems concerned to connection to be connected to public switched telephone network by analog connection. Modem which is on the one side of the connection transforms data from digital representation to analog signal for transmission through telephone line and modem which is on the other side converts the received analog signal back to a digital form. Such a double data transformation on the both sides of connection restricts data transmission rates to 33.6 Kbit/s on the existing modems supporting V.34 protocol. While V.90 technology supposes that one of the modems concerned to connection has a merely digital connection to a telephone network and has all advantages of such a high-speed digital connection.
Using a public switched telephone network as a digital network V.90 technology is capable to accelerate the data traffic incoming to your computer from Internet up to 56 Kbit/s rate. In that way V.90 technology differs from other modern standards in using a digital encoding of incoming data instead of modulation of it (as analog modems make). At that data transmission is found as asymmetric so that outgoing traffic (basically keystrokes and commands from your computer mouse to central site that require less line capacity) continues to be transmitted with usual rates to 33.6 Kbit/s inasmuch as outgoing data is sent in analog form in accordance with V.34 standard and only incoming data traffic uses the V.90 protocol high rates advantages. V.90 technology is perfect for Internet users who use a dial-up access because it can provide a 56 Kbit/s rate for loading web-pages with sounds, streaming video and other big files.
